GROUNDHOG DAYS ON CAPE COD: Cape Cod will have a series of events in early February that focus on environmental themes…. At the end of the series, religious and community leaders will discuss climate change issues and environmental justice. This presentation is called, “A Moral Response to Climate Change.” Special attention will be given to the role of religious groups in responding to environmental problems….. Free event.

All people are invited. The Unitarian Universalist church in Falmouth is easily accessible for people with disabilities.

Last summer – during the droughts, heat waves, etc. – we had some special presentations that called attention to the problems in the West. We called it,”The Route 66 Road Show.” Some attention was given to the Dust Bowl days of the 1930s. And, then, a lot of attention was given to modern problems in the region. You may want to do your own version of “The Route 66 Road Show,” as the warm weather approaches. Combine music with other stuff. Yes, we did sing, “Get Your Kicks on Route 66.” We had some Woody Guthrie songs. For the kids, we had pictures from the cartoon movie “Cars.” (An experience for several generations!)
