This is the April monthly that the Baha’is of Santa Fe have hosted on spiritual conversations on building community. This month’s theme is How do we build community by taking care of Mother Earth within our families, our neighborhoods, our cities and the planet, as a whole. This is a potluck dinner so please bring a dish to share. Also, please share a favorite quote about caring for the environment.
These conversations are not meant to focus on any one religion but rather, to share our thoughts and ideas and to develop friendships.
“We cannot segregate the human heart from the environment outside us and say that once one of these is reformed everything will be improved. Man is organic with the world. His inner life moulds the environment and is itself also deeply affected by it. The one acts upon the other and every abiding change in the life of man is the result of these mutual reactions.” — Shoghi Effendi
