The Care for Creation ministry is happy to announce our second Movie Club evening of conversation and learning.  Kick off Earth Week by joining us onFriday, April 16 at 7:00 pm on Zoom for reflections, small and large group discussion, and a guest speaker. Our movie is Kiss the Ground.  The design of the Movie Club is to have the participates watch the movie in advance and then come ready to discuss the movie, new insights, and new actions they might take.
Kiss the Ground, which is narrated by and features Woody Harrelson, is an inspiring and groundbreaking film that reveals a viable solution to our climate crisis.  It reveals that, by regenerating the world’s soils, we can completely and rapidly stabilize Earth’s climate, restore lost ecosystems, and create abundant food supplies. While most of us are not farmers, there are still actions we can take to protect and restore the planet’s soil and combat climate change.
Participants must register on the Zoom link for this Movie Club program. Click Here to Register.  (Save the email that comes back, with the link to join the program, in a place so you can find it on the day of the program.)  Once registered, participants will receive the discussion questions, the Zoom link to join the program and a link from Interfaith Power and Light to register to watch the movie starting now through April 26.
IPL asks that everyone REGISTER to view the film, to THANK the filmmakers for their generosity. (Please do not share your link to view, just share the link to REGISTER)
Here is the link to register to view the film to share with your friends: https://www.faithclimateactionweek.org/featured-film-kit/
