A class on three Sundays: April 3, 10, and 17, 2016, 1-3 pm
Climate Change is a growing and unavoidable threat. Jewish wisdom offers profound insight and a corrective vision to our relationship with the world around us, both the natural world and the social world. What does Judaism teach about our relationship with the nature? What are the theological underpinnings of the Jewish Environmental movement? How can we use our religion to find a new relationship with the planet? How do ecological concerns relate to our social justice concerns?
Join Rabbi Dean and Temple Emanuel member Yael Dennis, PhD candidate in Philosophical Studies in Religion at ASU, for a three-part course on Judaism and the Environment.
Cost is $18 for members, $36 for non-members.
