This annual month-long event features adult and children’s classes, a film series, special worship services, and a solar fund raiser.
80 members of the congregation have each paid a fee for the privilege of artistically enhancing a plain masonite cu-out of a sun.
The suns will be displayed as a group in a local gallery for First Friday, 5:30-7:30, April 6th.
Following the gallery opening, the art pieces will be displayed at the church until they are auctioned off at noon on Sunday, April 29th.
Proceeds will be used for the church to participate in the local public power districts solar energy program.
