Details: Destiny Watford is an environmental activist who started several years ago in high school when, in a community whose environmental rights had long been sidelined to make room for heavy industry, she inspired residents of a Baltimore neighborhood to defeat plans to build the nation’s largest incinerator less than a mile away from her high school.
Before and after her two presentations, the Earth Ethics team will have an action table for letter signing and making commitments to take personal environmental actions.
Guests are welcome.
How: For further information, see the website – http://ethicalsociety.org/ (where you can also find directions for attending by podcast).
