Earth Day Observances
On April 22, we will join in the Earth Day 2018 observance with all-church activities from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m, focused on this year’s theme: End Plastic Pollution. We will begin with spirit-filled worship at 10 a.m. Multiple classes will be available at 11:15 a.m. to help us learn more about the impact of plastics, particularly on the oceans and all the creatures that live there. At noon, we’ll gather in Fellowship Hall for lunch and intergenerational activities that help us turn plastics into useful items, create a plastics art installation, write advocacy letters and much more.
