We will celebrate Earth Day for several weeks. It kicks of on Earth Day Sunday, April 21, 2013, at 9:00 a.m. with breakfast and a 9:15 screening of The Hungry Tide, a documentary about a reluctant environmental activist and her native Pacific island country of Kirabati (pronounced Kirabas).
In worship we will focus on creation care, and then hand out and collect Love Creation postcards to send to President Obama, encouraging him to pursue policies that curb global warming and protect future generations.
After worship we will dedicate ground to a spring build of a labyrinth and rain garden.
