“Say: Nature in its essence is the embodiment of My Name, the Maker, the Creator. Its manifestations are diversified by varying causes, and in this diversity there are signs for men of discernment. Nature is God’s Will and is its expression in and through the contingent world. It is a dispensation of Providence ordained by the Ordainer, the All-Wise.” -Baha’u’llah

As part of the National Preach-In on Climate Change*, the Baha’is of Irving invite you to a special Valentine’s Day presentation on “Moral Imperatives for Climate Action from a Baha’i Perspective”. The Baha’i Center of Irving will open at 7:00 PM with the presentation beginning at 7:15 PM on Friday, Feb 14. 2835 W. Grauwyler, Irving, TX 75061 phone: (972) 719-9696.

Stephen Fuqua, a member of the Baha’i community of Irving and Co-Chair of the non-profit Dallas Interfaith Power & Light, will present both key scientific facts about climate change and relevant passages from the Baha’i sacred scriptures and authoritative guidance. The presentation will be followed by an interactive exercise for individuals to evaluate their carbon footprint and consider ways of reducing that footprint.
