As we enter another climate-intensified hurricane season, it is time to step back and ask: How can our congregations be hubs of climate resilience, helping our communities weather the spiritual and physical storms of the climate crisis? Join this virtual workshop to learn practical steps for building disaster preparedness and climate resilience in your congregation.
This workshop will be led by Avery Davis Lamb, an activist, ecologist, and public theologian working at the intersection of Christianity and environmental justice. He is the Resilience Coordinator for Creation Justice Ministries, where he shepherds Christian communities in re-shaping their role in the face of the climate crisis.
This workshop is part of GIPL’s Eco-Faith from Home: 30 Days of Climate Action: http://gipl.org/30days.
