Pilgrimage on Sacred Ground: Finding God in Nature

Location: Rock Creek Park (Exact Location TBD). Carpool from Foundry UMC (1500 16th St NW, Washington, DC 20036) at 1:00pm.

Time: 1:30-4:00pm

How: RSVP Here & Share on Facebook!

Details: Christians throughout history have read the natural world as the second book of revelation. God reveals God’s self not only through the words of Scripture, but also through experiences in Creation.

Join the Foundry United Methodist Church and the Center for Spirituality in Nature after church on April 15 for Pilgrimage on Sacred Ground: Finding God in Nature. We’ll hike approximately 2 to 3 miles in Rock Creek Park, stopping along the way to look and listen for God’s presence.

The program will be led by Foundry member, Avery Davis Lamb, and Center for Spirituality in Nature Director, Beth Norcross. The cost for this event is $5 and you should bring clothes and shoes suitable for hiking.
