Dolphin strandings, wetsuits that disintegrate after swimming in polluted waters, out of work fishermen, and even lost lives.

These are just some of the outcomes of offshore oil and gas exploration that are documented in Shore Stories, a new compilation of short films. Join us to watch Shore Stories and learn more about a dangerous new proposal to open the Atlantic to drilling. After the films, connect with other residents and local organizations that are concerned about drilling in NC waters, and find out how you can help protect the coast.

HOSTED BY CONCERNED CITIZENS OF CARTERET COUNTY, NC SIERRA CLUB, NORTH CAROLINA INTERFAITH POWER AND LIGHT, RIVERKEEPERS, AND CARTERET COUNTY CROSSROADS

SHORE STORIES WAS CREATED BY WORKING FILMS IN COLLABORATION WITH OCEANA, SURFRIDER FOUNDATION, AND BLUE FRONTIER.

FOR MORE INFO CONTACT ANNA LEE AT WORKING FILMS 910-342-9000 OR ALEE@WORKINGFILMS.ORG
