Wandering in the Wilderness
How do we leave behind a way of life that destroys the earth, and make a journey into a way of life in greater harmony with all beings? Somehow, the metaphor of the Israelites wandering in the wilderness for forty years seems apt. In this week of Passover, I will share some reflections from my own experience of searching for greener housing, and the challenges and joys I have encountered along the way so far. We are joining together with other faith communities across the United States to celebrate Faith Climate Action Week.
