Organize your congregation to take part in Faith Climate Action Week in three easy steps.
All major faith traditions call on their believers to be good stewards of Creation, and to care for their neighbors — especially those in our community most in need. Join IPL in highlighting this calling. Faith Climate Action Week takes place in around Earth Day each year, but the materials can be used all year long.
Steps to a Successful Faith Climate Action Event
|Find Sermon and Discussion Ideas
Join us to preach and teach about the urgent need to protect our children’s future and our common home from the impacts of climate change. We have a collection of sermon and activity ideas for different faith traditions in the sermon resources section. Congregations all over the country are doing their part by using energy more efficiently and greening their facilities. We are responding to the urgent need to curb climate change and protect our children’s future. It’s important to practice what we preach, and also sometimes to preach what we practice. You can participate from the comfort of your congregation. Click here for “Ideas for Sermons and Talks” organized by religion.
